Think of something you would be willing to sacrifice to make your relationship stronger. You could decrease the amount of time you spend on social media and use the gained time playing with your spouse. You could cut down on certain foods or beverages that keep you from being your healthiest and best you for your spouse. It doesn’t have to be dramatic, just enough to show that you would like to put your spouse over something else that is not as important.
Do something active outside together, even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Play a game, go on a jog, toss around a frisbee, make a snowman, etc.
- Write down 10 things you absolutely love about your spouse. Post it somewhere you both can see it daily, such as the bathroom mirror or the refrigerator.
