1 Year of Dating – 6For those of you that haven’t been following my previous posts (first one found here) I have created 24 preplanned dates for the year. So my husband and I will have one at home date and one date where we go out. I have wrapped 24 items that will offer a hint of what the date will consist of; some that may be used during our dates and some that simply solely act as clues. We’ve already covered January, February and March; so now we’re moving on to April. We had so much fun during our Valentine’s Day stay at home date, a night in Paris, that I forwent the idea I had planned for another themed night at home, Italian themed.

The hint for this date was the move, the Italian Job. I made sausage and peppers for dinner. I went to an Italian restaurant and purchased Authentic made in-house Gelato and they had cute napkins with the Italian Flag printed on them, so I asked, and they let me take about 10 or so. So, I called my husband on the way home and sent him out for a bit so that I could prepare dinner. It’s his favorite, and while I’m sure he’s figured out it an Italian theme, (based on the DVD as for the Paris theme I have him Chocolat) I didn’t want him to know that I was making Sausage and Peppers for dinner until it was ready. He came home, the house smelled amazing, I had Italian music playing, and just to get a laugh out of him I drew on an Italian looking mustache.  We ate, laughed, talked, and had out dessert while we watch the Italian Job. The date overall way a success, we had so much fun, we even Googled some phrases in Italian and worked on our accents, it was hilarious!
