For those of you that haven’t been following my previous posts (first one found here) I have created 24 preplanned dates for the year. So my husband and I will have one at home date and one date where we go out. I have wrapped 24 items that will offer a hint of what the date will consist of; some that may be used during our dates and some that simply solely act as clues. To continue in April, we finished out home date, now on to our date night out. Where I live the local casino’s offer free gaming classes; these classes give you a better understanding of the table game you are playing. It’s about forty-five minutes long and the instructors teach you everything you need to know. They teach you the basics, strategy, tips, tricks, etiquette and rules.
While I know the basics of most of the table games, they aren’t usually something I head towards. The tables, the other players, the dealers can all be so intimidating. After all, this is their money on the line, what if I take too long to place my bet? What if I do something wrong and get kicked out? Okay, that last one was a bit extreme, but this is why I’m apprehensive, my mind takes me there; so I usually avoid the tables. After taking this class, I feel more confident about walking up to a table, sitting down and placing a bet. Most importantly, I feel comfortable in my knowledge to understand the game and the bet that I am placing. I had a blast, I don’t remember school being that much fun, and the instructors were funny and very informative. I learned something new, which is always a plus and we won a little extra money. The number one thing they taught us in the class was that you have to remember you are gambling, you win some, you lose some.
After our class, we decided we wanted to test everything we had just learned. We agreed to split up for 15 minutes and play at any table, as many or as little as we’d like. We set a spot to meet back at and whoever came back with the most money wins. My husband won, only by two dollars and he was able to choose anything he wanted to be his prize. He chose to go back home and play a sex games called Foreplay Body Paint; so it ended up being a win-win for both of us. We decided to stay and gable a bit more before heading home to let my husband collect his prize.
